Overview

BroncoHack is a FREE 24-hour competition where teams of students will use their computer programming and business skills to create a program or application centered around a social issue. In teams of 2-6, students will produce and present their projects to a panel of judges in order to win a variety of prizes. This event will challenge teams of varying majors to collaborate in order to provide a solution to a social problem. We'll provide all your meals, snacks, caffeine, swag, and sleeping spaces.

Join us at BroncoHack, where you'll have the opportunity to work with the smartest people, build and launch the coolest ideas, and chug more Yerba Mate and Red Bull that you ever thought possible in hopes of winning up to $3,000 in cash prizes. This is your opportunity to bring your ideas to life!

BroncoHack is open to undergraduate and graduate students from an accredited institution and to people who graduated within one year of the event date. You must be at least 18 years old to participate.

If you do not have a team, we will find one for you. We recommend that each group consist of three to five members of different backgrounds in business and engineering/computer science.

Check-in begins an hour before the event, at 11:00am on Saturday, April 4th. BroncoHack 2020 will be taking place in Lucas Hall, alongside SCU Preview Days. The venue may be a little busy during the day, but we kindly ask that you share the space throughout the hackathon.
